Unexpectedly, I received a delivery from Insomnia Cookies one day. I had not ordered from them, so I was not sure why I was getting something from them. It turned out to be a bereavement gift from my employer. Inside, I found a box of cookies from Insomnia. The cookies are the soft and chewy variety. There were 4 types, including sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies with M&Ms and white chocolate macadamia cookies. Enjoyed all of the cookies that I tried here. I did find it interesting that they were mailed from Massachusetts, given this is a franchise with locations in many cities, including in Seattle. At least now I know what I can expect if I encounter an Insomnia Cookies storefront.

Food 5-5 There was only 6 options of ice cream but the key lime was a favorite for everyone in our party. They have gluten free options of ice cream and cookies. Great for my son and I. The cookies are so good. I made myself and ice cream sandwich. Super delicious! Service 5-5 Greeted us when we walked in 4 people and great service and super friendly we came in early June on a Sunday and not really busy. Ambiance 3-5 Not really any seating but a restroom you can use. We walked around the town instead.

I considered ordering elsewhere for local delivery, checking out Atkins Farm's cider donuts and baskets. But with a $25 local delivery minimum and a $15 (or more) delivery charge, I returned to Insomnia Cookies. Insomnia Cookies now charges $3.99 for local delivery, and I spied a cookie and frosting dipping combo with cream cheese frosting as an option. Yum! 4 cookies for $10.75. A dollar charge for individually wrapping them in waxed bags. And they deliver them to the dorm building, not just to their post office or service desk. A good option for your local sweet tooth. PS - Their 12 pack is now $22.25. 2022 experience

Hands down one of the best cookie places I tend to like local spots over chains, but I have to make an exception for this

Each time we are in Amherst, my husband likes to swing by for a cookie and ice cream sandwich. You can customize your sweet snack by selecting from many delicious cookie varieties, along with different flavors of ice cream. A solid spot for a quick and late night sweet treat.

Crispy outside, soft but not doughy inside. Was listed as 3 stars. Not my experience.

Must sound very weird, but it was the first time in my 21 years on Earth to enter a cookie store past 10pm-ish, and it left such a good impression. I'm not a big fan of sweet eats, but this place downright convinced my heart and mind. I ordered a deluxe salted caramel for $4.28. Price was definitely not cheap, so minus (-) 1 star. Customer service was unexpectedly wonderful, given that nighttime staff elsewhere would typically feel reluctant to serve. They carefully asked if I wanted a paper plate or a double-open bag for takeout. Recalling all my cookie-tasting memories, I think this is the best cookie I have ever had. They handed the cookie to me lukewarm. First bite was exactly like described in the title, very ooey-gooey. You could feel that batter hot out of the oven melting in your mouth. The texture was soft, wet, a little crispy, and sticky; nothing could compare to it!! When I first held it, it broke into medium-sized parts that fit my chewing capacity. Yummy, but one is enough for the night because it's cloyingly sweet at some point. Please handle it with care, or it will break into pieces‼ Overall, very positive experience in my first attempt at ordering and tasting a cookie. Also feeling thankful because there was a suddenly long, long queue after my order!! P/s: Highly recommend for late-night sugar cravers!! Opening until 1AM. Will definitely come back with reviews of their ice cream and chocolate milk.
